Gonzaga Eagle Sculpture

Unveiled in May 2026 during the graduation ceremony, this eagle sculpture at Gonzaga High School commemorates the school’s famous comeback victory against DeMatha in November 2018. In that historic WCAC football game, Gonzaga rallied from a three-touchdown deficit to secure a win in the final three seconds.

Designed as an inspirational “rally” statue, the monument serves as a powerful totem for future generations of Gonzaga athletes to rub for strength as they enter the field for football, rugby, lacrosse, track, or soccer, as well as a symbol of good luck for students before exams.
